Adhesive Bond

3M Scotchshield™ Safety and Security films use 3M’s proprietary adhesive technology to bond tightly to the glass. UV Protection

The sun’s Ultra-Violet rays are a major contributor to fading. Ultraflex Sealant System

In installations where security is paramount, sometimes film alone is not enough. The reason for this is that the only weak point on a window with security film installed, is where the film meets the frame. The optional Ultraflex Sealant System is designed specifically to target this weak point. A specially formulated adhesive is applied to the film, glass and frame thereby holding the glass and film to the frame even if the glass is broken by extra force through kicking, pushing or pulling. The adhesive will replace the window gasket and looks as good as the gasket is replaces.
